William Harry Grindley "Argyle" Pattern Lidded Vegetable Serving Dish / Tureen in Flow Blue China. Late 1800's / Early 1900's. Made in Tunstall Stoke-Upon-Trent Staffordshire, England. Features mild discoloration on the lip of the base and two small spots inside the bowl. One small chip on the inside of the lid. Stamp of "Patented, Dec. 30th, 96. U.S.A." on bottom. Number "871" etched on bottom under glaze. Two small .25" hairline cracks on the bottom. Moderate wear around edges of feet - glaze removed and bisque visible in several small places on feet. Measurements: 11.5x7.5x5.25"
